His Father's Son
HIS FATHER'S SON: The Life of Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., was published by Penguin/Random House in January 2017. A narrative of the life and times of one of the most public figures of the early half of the 20th century, HIS FATHER'S SON offers new perspectives on Roosevelt's life, detailing his heroic service in WWI, his distinguished yet ultimately failed political career, and his strained political relationship with his cousin, Franklin. It traces his WWII military career from his reenlistment in the Army to his death in France, including this experience with the 1st Infantry Division's Big Red One and his D-Day landing on Utah Beach.
